Kim Nielsen
With over 14 years of experience in creative strategy and visual communication, I’ve worked across film and communications in Denmark and abroad. I’ve developed visual identities, led strategic campaigns, and driven socially impactful projects. As an NGO leader in one of Denmark’s most challenged areas, I’ve built communities and promoted democratic development. I’m also the co-founder of Eyebombing, a global street-art movement, and an adept communicator, skilled in crafting compelling narratives.
What I Do
Strategy and Leadership
Experienced leader and social entrepreneur with a background in design, communication, and strategic project management. I founded and led Respect Community Lab, establishing a successful NGO in Denmark’s most challenged area while navigating complex political and institutional barriers. Additionally, I held strategic roles as Design Lead at Welltrado and co-founder of Din Jurist. I have strong skills in leadership, communication, and strategy, with experience in building organizations and leading projects that drive meaningful impact.
Entrepreneurship and impact
I have co-founded projects with both local and global impact. At Welltrado, I played a key role in developing an award-winning fintech platform that secured 2nd place in a fintech competition hosted by Rietumu Bank and was recognized by Google CEE All Stars for its innovative approach. As co-founder of Eyebombing, a global street-art movement, I’ve influenced social and cultural conversations around urban art and creative activism, leaving a lasting mark on the art scene and public spaces.
IT-Savvy and Hands-On
I have extensive experience with Adobe products, 3D modeling, and web design, including setting up web hosting, CMS platforms, payment gateways, and managing social media integration. Additionally, I have worked with SEO and possess a strong understanding of the technical aspects behind digital projects. My skills allow me to navigate both the creative and technical sides of project development, ensuring smooth execution across a variety of platforms.
Design and Communication
Strong skills in design and communication, with experience developing visual identities and strategic campaigns for clients like Odense Zoo, where I co-led a complete brand redesign, and Dansk Industri, where I crafted a high-impact visuals. I created the global art movement Eyebombing, featured in over 100-300 media outlets, including The New York Times, BBC, and Scientific American. As a leader, I’ve contributed to national policy proposals, regularly appeared in the media, and was featured on the front page of Jyllands-Posten for my communication efforts during the COVID-19 response.

I have successfully driven positive change by building inclusive communities through strong networks and collaboration. With a focus on people and relationships, I’ve fostered connections across diverse stakeholders and promoted democratic processes that strengthen community bonds. My approach emphasizes inclusivity and cooperation, ensuring that every voice is heard and every contribution valued in creating sustainable social impact.
Adaptability and International Collaboration
I have worked with individuals from around the world through various projects in Denmark and abroad. Through my NGO, I collaborated with people from diverse backgrounds. My time in the U.S. film and advertising industries provided me with valuable insights into cross-cultural environments (fluent in English), and I’ve worked alongside international teams from the UK and Lithuania. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt to different cultural contexts and foster successful international collaborations.

Foreningen RespektFounder/Leadership
▪ A pioneering NGO established in one of Denmark's most socio-economically challenged areas, serving as a cultural center and democratic platform.
▪ Demonstrated exceptional skills in diplomacy, communication and crisis handling(during Covid-19).
▪ Developed a platform that serves as a cultural center, youth community, and communal kitchen.
▪ Secured substantial grants and funding, including the largest single grant awarded to the area in the last 10 years.

▪ A global P2P Lending Fintech aggregator, winner of multiple awards, including recognition by Google Startups
▪ Co-founded and led strategic design and branding for a startup with between 6-12 people. (very on/off)
▪ Responsible for creative communication decisions, white paper co-writing, and presentation decks. etc.
▪ Won 1st place at the d10e conference, securing both audience and judges' awards, earned 2nd place at Rietumu Bank's Baltic Fintech competition

▪ Led creative efforts in collaboration with Cosmographic and agencies such as STV, for high-profile campaigns like the Danish Industry, Intersport, Bygma, Dit Apotek. Børsen, Coca Cola etc.
▪ Co-created winning cases for major clients, including Odense Zoo and government entities.
▪ Provided broad creative services, including design, web, and social media, for Dan Mark Ejendomme.
▪ Motion designer/colorgrader for F-film, contributing to blockbuster Blå Mænd and colorgrading DR’s Politiskolen.
▪ Delivered consistent creative output under tight deadlines, ensuring client satisfaction across multiple industries.

Vitamin Pictures [Chicago]Junior Designer
▪ Involved in all stages of production for an American McDonald's commercial directed by Ryan Dunn.
▪ Contributed to the US-wide "Budweiser Patterns" ad, by Vincent Haycock, reaching 12 million viewers.
